Gay Men’s Bali Retreat 2026
Tue 13 - Mon 19 October
Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings for the Gay Men’s Bali Retreat 2026 (the “Retreat”). By submitting a room request and later making payment, you agree to the following.
1) Definitions
We / us / our means the Retreat organisers (Will + Justin).
You / guest means the person making a booking, and any additional guest included in the booking.
Deposit means the non-refundable amount paid to secure a place on the Retreat.
Retreat start date means 13 October 2026.
2) Room requests and confirmation
Submitting the online form is a room request, not a confirmed booking.
If your requested room is available, we will email payment details and hold the room for 24 hours.
Your booking is confirmed once we receive your $750 deposit (or proof of payment for bank transfer).
3) Payment and due dates
You may pay in full or choose deposit + instalments. Instalments are (Room price − deposit) ÷ 3.
Full payment is due by 30 July 2026.
If an instalment is not paid by its due date, we may cancel the booking and release the room. Any refund will be handled under Section 14.
4) Pricing, inclusions, and what is not included
Your Retreat fee includes accommodation at the Retreat venue and the scheduled Retreat activities and meals as advertised.
Your Retreat fee does not include flights, travel insurance, visas, airport transfers, transport to the venue, personal expenses, or any activities not listed as included.
5) Participant responsibilities
Guests are responsible for booking their own flights, travel insurance, and making their own way to Bali and to the Retreat venue.
Once you arrive at the venue, the Retreat is all inclusive as advertised.
6) Guest details, dietary requirements, and allergies
You agree that the information provided in your booking request is accurate.
You must disclose all allergies and relevant dietary requirements during booking, and update us if anything changes.
We will do our best to accommodate dietary needs, however we cannot guarantee a completely allergen free environment.
7) Health, fitness, and participation
The Retreat includes wellbeing activities which may involve yoga, mobility, breathwork, meditation, and other movement practices.
You are responsible for ensuring you are medically and physically able to participate.
If you have any injuries, health concerns, or conditions that may affect participation, we recommend you seek advice from your GP or healthcare provider before attending.
You agree to participate at your own pace and within your personal limits.
8) Risk, liability, and medical costs
Participation in the Retreat activities is at your own risk and within your personal limits.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, or theft incurred during or as a result of the Retreat.
You are responsible for any medical costs, emergency treatment, or related expenses you incur. This is one reason travel insurance is required.
In the event of an emergency, you authorise us to seek medical assistance for you if needed.
9) Accessibility and venue terrain
Please note that the Retreat venue includes stairs and uneven terrain. In particular, the yoga shala is accessed via spiral stairs.
By booking, you confirm that you are comfortable navigating stairs and uneven surfaces, or that you have contacted us in advance to discuss any concerns.
10) Conduct, safety, and community standards
This Retreat is designed as a space for wellbeing, personal growth, respectful connection, and community.
You agree to behave respectfully toward other guests, staff, and the venue.
Harassment, intimidation, discriminatory behaviour, and conduct that makes others feel unsafe will not be tolerated.
If a guest’s behaviour is disruptive or unsafe, we reserve the right to remove them from the Retreat. In this circumstance, no refund will be provided.
11) Alcohol and drugs
The Retreat is an alcohol free and drug free experience.
Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited.
Guests are responsible for complying with local laws at all times.
12) Photography, filming, and privacy
We may take photos or videos during the Retreat for marketing and community purposes.
We will aim to be respectful and will not intentionally share content that compromises a guest’s privacy.
If you do not wish to appear in photos or videos, please let us know in writing before the Retreat.
13) Public posting and local context
We want everyone to feel safe and comfortable.
While Bali is widely known as welcoming, homosexuality is illegal in Indonesia. For this reason, we ask guests to be mindful about public social media posts or content that could overtly identify this as a “gay men’s retreat” or draw unwanted attention leading up to the Retreat.
This is simply a request for discretion and good judgment so the Retreat can run smoothly for everyone.
14) Cancellations, refunds, and transfers
All cancellations and transfer requests must be submitted in writing by email to hello@willandjustin.com.
Deposit
The deposit is $750 per person and is non-refundable (except as required by law).
Cancellations and refunds
If you cancel on or before 15 July 2026 (more than 90 days before the Retreat start date), we will refund all amounts you have paid minus the $750 deposit.
If you cancel on or after 16 July 2026 (within 90 days of the Retreat start date), no refund will be provided.
Transfers
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person up to 6 October 2026, subject to our approval and room suitability.
The replacement guest must accept these Terms and Conditions and complete any required forms.
Any payment arrangements between you and the replacement guest are private and are not managed by us.
No show
If you do not attend the Retreat for any reason, it will be treated as a cancellation within 90 days and no refund will be provided.
If we cancel the Retreat
In the unlikely event we need to cancel the Retreat, you will be offered a full refund of all amounts paid, including the deposit.
We are not responsible for external costs such as flights, insurance, visas, or other personal expenses.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
15) Changes to schedule, teachers, or activities
We may make reasonable changes to the Retreat schedule, facilitators, or activities due to weather, safety, venue requirements, or other circumstances. Any changes will be made with guest experience and safety in mind.
16) Force majeure
If the Retreat cannot proceed due to circumstances beyond our control (for example natural disaster, severe weather event, pandemic restrictions, government travel restrictions, or venue closure), we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible.
Where we cancel the Retreat due to these circumstances, Section 14 (If we cancel the Retreat) will apply.
We are not responsible for any additional costs you may incur, including flights, accommodation outside the Retreat dates, travel insurance, or other travel related expenses.
17) Travel insurance requirement
All guests must have appropriate travel insurance that covers international travel, medical care, and cancellation or interruption.
You may be asked to provide proof of travel insurance prior to the Retreat.
18) Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
