Acknowledgement of Country

Our work takes place on Aboriginal land. Where we are based in Melbourne, we live, work and gather on the lands of the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, the Traditional Owners of this Country, along the Birrarung (Yarra River). We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

For tens of thousands of years, Aboriginal peoples have cared for Country, and gathered, taught and healed on it. Sovereignty was never ceded. This always was and always will be Aboriginal land. We are grateful to be here, and to share in the connection to land, community and body that this place holds.
